Information according to German telemedia / digital services rules for the operator of this online game service.

We process personal data only as needed to run Starveil accounts, keep the game secure and improve the service.

Controller: the provider named in the Imprint. Privacy requests can be sent to the contact email listed there.

Typical data: account identifiers (email, commander name), authentication/session data, game progress and logs required for fleets, combat, messages, alliances, payments/donations metadata when those channels are live, and basic technical logs (e.g. IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.

Purposes: providing the game, account security, fair play enforcement, support, optional shop/donation processing, and service operation/hosting.

Legal bases (GDPR): contract / pre-contractual steps for playing the game (Art. 6(1)(b)), legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention (Art. 6(1)(f)), and consent where required (e.g. optional marketing — currently not used).

Storage: as long as the account exists and as needed for legal retention, dispute handling or security. Deleted accounts are removed or anonymized after operational cleanup windows.

Recipients: hosting and infrastructure processors acting on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. When checkout or donations are enabled, Paddle.com Market Ltd (Merchant of Record) receives the payment data required to process the transaction.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection where applicable, plus the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for Germany typically the data protection authority of Niedersachsen or your place of residence).

To exercise privacy rights, contact the email in the Imprint and describe your request clearly (account email / commander name helps).

Features, balance, rules and availability can change. Progress is normally kept unless a wipe or reset is announced.

No guarantee of uninterrupted uptime, specific ranking outcomes or permanent feature availability. Combat, economy and NPC systems remain under active development.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected where they apply.

Optional paid items (e.g. premium convenience or cosmetics) are described in the Shop catalog. Prices are shown in EUR. Checkout is processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Contract details and withdrawal information are shown at checkout and in the Refunds section on this page.

Starveil does not sell combat power, resources, ships, research progress or ranking points. Optional purchases must not create an unfair combat advantage.

This is the refund and withdrawal policy for Starveil shop purchases and donations. It is published so buyers and payment reviewers can find it on the public website.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, invoices, VAT/sales tax where applicable, and the payment contract. Starveil grants the in-game item after Paddle confirms the completed transaction.

Consumers in the EU/EEA and UK generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. That right can end earlier for digital content if you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right — Paddle shows this at checkout.

Premium time, cosmetics, titles, themes and account services are digital content. If they have already been delivered or used, a refund may be reduced or refused except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Unused premium time is more likely to be refundable than content already unlocked.

Donations are voluntary support for hosting and development, not a purchase of gameplay power. There is no statutory product warranty. Refunds for donations are considered only in clear error or legal cases, at Paddle’s and our discretion.

To request a refund or withdrawal, email support@starveil.eu with the account email, commander name, approximate time of purchase and Paddle receipt if you have it. You may also contact Paddle as the seller of record.

We aim to answer refund requests promptly. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Donations are voluntary expressions of support for hosting and development. They are not a purchase of gameplay power, rank or exclusive combat advantages, and create no entitlement to specific features beyond what is publicly stated.

Starveil is a strategy game with competitive conflict between players. It is intended for a mature audience. There is no real-money gambling mechanic. Parents/guardians should decide suitability for minors.

We aim to keep information accurate, but content can change quickly. For external links we are not responsible for third-party content. Mandatory liability rules under German law remain unaffected.
